Why did you decide on the dental field:
When I was a kid, I LOVED the dentist and had always hoped to work in the dental field one day. As I got older, that dream changed and I went to school to become a Preschool teacher and worked at a preschool for several years. I was reminded of my dream to work in the dental field and decided to go to school for it!! As I was finishing up my courses, I went to Dr. Soung’s office to complete some externship hours and was hired the same day! Since then, I have been so in love with Oral Surgery and can’t imagine doing anything else.

Before deciding on working in the dental field, I worked at an attorney’s office and decided Legal Administrative work was not for me. The job opportunity was presented by a friend and decided to give a shot. Ever since February 2022, I’ve enjoyed the different field that Dental offers. I ended up enjoying Oral Surgery the most!

Why did you decide on the dental field:
Back in 2018, I worked as a medical assistant for two years. During that time, I occasionally helped at the front desk and translated phone calls in Spanish. That experience made me realize how much I enjoyed the administrative side of healthcare. I eventually decided to explore the dental field, specifically oral surgery, and I’ve been loving it since July 2022!
Hobbies and Interests:
I love taking weekend trips with my husband and discovering new restaurants together. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, especially my nieces.

Why did you decide on the dental field:
I chose the dental field because it perfectly combines my passion for healthcare with my desire to make a tangible, positive impact in people’s lives. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of helping others feel confident and healthy, and dentistry offers a unique opportunity to do just that—both through preventative care and transformative treatments. I also love that the field is constantly evolving, which keeps me learning and growing. Most importantly, I find it incredibly rewarding to build trusting relationships with patients and be a part of their journey to better oral health and overall well-being.
