You Do Not Have to Be Nervous
to Be Here
A lot of people who come through our doors are anxious about Oral Surgery. That is completely normal, and it is something we plan for. We offer multiple anesthesia options — listed here from the deepest to the lightest — so your experience is as calm and comfortable as possible.
Moderate-to-Deep IV Sedation
Deepest Level We OfferYou are deeply relaxed in a sleep-like state with little to no memory of the procedure, monitored continuously throughout. Our most popular choice for wisdom teeth and longer procedures.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Relaxed & DrowsyA prescribed tablet taken before your visit leaves you relaxed and drowsy but aware. A good fit for anxiety or longer appointments. You will need a driver both ways.
Local Anesthesia
Numbing OnlyTopical gel followed by a local anesthetic injection, given slowly and gently. The most conservative option, and you can drive yourself home afterward.
Dr. Soung will walk you through your options at your consultation and help you choose what feels right. You are in control of that decision.

What You Should Know Before Your Appointment
Wisdom teeth are the last molars to come in, usually between ages 17 and 25. Because most jaws do not have room for them, they often become impacted — stuck below the gumline or growing at an angle. That causes pain, infection risk, and can damage the teeth around them.
Not everyone needs their wisdom teeth removed right away. But if yours are impacted, causing recurring pain, or creating crowding or decay risk, removal is usually the right call. The younger you are when they come out, the easier the recovery tends to be.
Most patients feel back to normal within a few days. Swelling and soreness are common in the first 48 to 72 hours. We give you clear post-op instructions, and Dr. Soung is available if anything comes up afterward.
Absolutely. IV sedation is our most popular choice for wisdom teeth procedures. You will be fully relaxed, and most patients have very little memory of the appointment.
Dental Implants Placed by a
Surgical Specialist
Dental implants are the most effective long-term solution for missing teeth. They look, feel, and function like natural teeth, and they help preserve the jawbone that is lost when a tooth is missing. Dr. Soung places implants ranging from single sites — including in the anterior esthetic zone — to full arch and full mouth rehabilitation, working alongside your dentist so the surgical and restorative sides of your treatment line up.
Good candidates are typically adults with healthy gums and adequate bone density, though many patients who lack enough bone can still move forward after a bone grafting procedure. The best way to know if implants are right for you is a one-on-one consultation.
We offer single-tooth implants, implant-retained overdentures, and All-on-4 full-arch restorations.
